THE FACE BEHIND THE NAME
Hi Guys 🙋♀️ it’s been a long time coming, but I thought it was about time to put a face to the name Designs By Avalina and what better time then now to do so #quarantinedlife
👩🎓 So a little bit about myself: I graduated from Seneca at York with a diploma in Corporate Media Production which elaborated on a wide variety of skills including graphic/web design, audio and video production, event planning, multimedia marketing and much more. I then started out with a passion for event planning that allowed me to continue to utilize my design skills... and VOILA✨ 10 years later here he we are👩💻 ... Enough with the boring stuff.
🌴 I love to travel!! When I am not working or when I have some downtime, I’m constantly thinking of the next trip I’m planning to go on. Unfortunately, due to the worlds current circumstances, the travelling will have to be put on hold until further notice.

Although I’ve been doing this for a while now, it wasn't easy to break into the industry as an independent designer. There was even a moment where I felt like giving up on my dreams of being designer, and making any income from my passion. It wasn't until I joined the Instagram community and started my account @designsby.avalina 2.5 years ago as a hobby, that my dreams started turning into a reality!
